About Age UK Haringey
Much of our work at Age UK Haringey is about helping older people to come together to overcome the barriers that get in the way of them making the most out of life. We help them to be more active as they become older and provide a range of practical services, and personal support.
Our mission statement is:
“To promote the well-being of all older people in the Borough, particularly those who are in any way deprived, isolated or vulnerable and to help them make their later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.”
We work with and for older people through:
Age UK is a federation of registered charities and Age UK Haringey is an independent charity, responsible for its own policy, direction and funding. We are a subscribing, full member of Age UK, the federation bringing together local Age UKs and Age Concerns from across the country that share similar objectives.
