Urgent appeal for volunteers to help people in need this Christmas

No-one should have no-one at Christmas

Christmas can be a lonely time for many vulnerable people, who rely on volunteers to help them get through it. Volunteering for a one-off occasion, such as helping at a shelter or to provide a meal, is a great way to try it for the first time. Many charities are run by volunteers, so they need extra hands on deck to help provide their services over the festive period. You don’t need to have any special skills or experience – everyone has something to offer.

Christmas is about giving, kindness and compassion and there’s no better way to show that than by volunteering. If you would like to make a difference this Christmas, then please email Phedorah at phedorah@bridgerenewaltrust.org.uk with your contact details, to find out how you can get involved.

Does your group or organisation need volunteers?

  • Are you a Haringey voluntary organisation that needs help on Christmas Day?
  • Are you a charity running an event and looking for volunteers to help on Christmas Day?

We have some people who are keen to volunteer on Christmas Day. If your group or organisation can use their help, then please email Phedorah at phedorah@bridgerenewaltrust.org.uk

Community Impact Haringey is recruiting people into roles that enable VCS groups to help those in greatest need all year round, not just at Christmas. Please let us know the roles you need help with, so we can make sure you get the support you require in the year ahead. Email phedorah@bridgerenewaltrust.org.uk
